Understanding is the basis of care. That’s true whether we’re talking about a flower, an athlete, a nation or an activity. Coaches have considerable responsibility to help those people under their care to thrive.

Therefore, there are some things we need to understand if we hope to properly care for our athletes in an effort to help them thrive. In this module we will seek understanding about where sport finds its home, your role as a coach, and how you can make an impact athlete’s life in all three dimensions.
